What are you reading Mondays.....

Hey, it's that time of week again, and since not many of you are posting what you've been reading, it's time to spill the beans! (hint, hint) Check out what other pages are turning on J. Kaye's blog too.

I finally scored at the library this week with two I've been waiting in line for for months! Woo-hoo! I'm so excited and am crossing my fingers that they will be excellent.

Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange

Of course, he was a vampire! Of course. It makes perfect sense. This one shows some promise and is apparently all the rage right now. I've read her other book, Mr. Darcy's Diary and liked it okay. I'm hoping for lots of blood in this one!

Finger Lickin' Fifteen by Janet Evanovich

I'm a big fan of the Plum novels, but am hoping something new happens in this one like, maybe her car explodes or she can't choose between Morelli or Ranger. You know something new...Will this one be spicy hot sauce or bland bean burrito? We shall see.

I just finished some good ones yet to be reviewed -
The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte by Syrie James
Club Dead by Charlaine Harrie
The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen by Syrie James

And yes my tastes are diverse..
So what are you reading?

mmmm...mondays. I am currently The Scarlet letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne and I am not a Seriel Killer by Dan Wells.
I just finished
Fablehaven by Brandon Mull- fun read. I wish I had read it to my kids they would have loved it.
Hourglass Door by lisa Mangum- This is a creative story, but the promo for it promised that Dante would Eclipse Edward and it just didn't happen for me. So sad.
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins- Loved it. It was frightening, I had to put the book down so I could breath for the characters. Warning though the next in the series does not come out for awhile.

Books I just picked up:
Reluctant Heiress by Eva Ibbotson
Precious Bane by Mary Webb
The Freedom Factor by Gerald Lund
The Alliance by Gerald Lund
Just one Wish by Jannette Rallison

Sorry for the longest post ever.

I am not the Scarlet Letter. I am just reading it. I don't think I could have picked a worse book to say that I am.
There is a tast for you. What titles would you not want to be?

Hehe I like your comment on Finger Lickin' Fifteen. Maybe you'll get a crushed car again as opposed to an exploded one? I just read Hot Six, so I'm a little bit behind in the series, but that just means I have lots more Plum-fun a head of me :)

LOL there is nothing new if her car explodes. ;) I love the novels but I hear they get a bit repetitive, which is disappointing.

I am reading Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would, and in spite of thinking the main character is dumb. It's picking up a bit so I'll go do some reading right now!

Tanja, I don't think I would want to be The Omnivore's Dilemma.

I love that title "Finger Lickin' Good." I love Stephanie Plum and that guy. Have to finish the series. Her grandma Mazur is fun too. I need to make a list of the stand alones.

I just finished the 4th book in the Percy Jackson series, The Battle of the Labryinth. I can't wait for the final book but I am currently #79 on the waiting list at the library so I have no choice!

In the meantime I am planning on picking up Dan Brown's new book The Lost Symbol tomorrow when it comes out. Hope it is a good one.

I'm interested to find out what you think about Mr. Darcy, vampyre. Sounds like it could be a fun one.

Jennifer - Thanks for stopping by! You have the cutest blog. Hopefully your review of Outlander will convince me to get that book done! It's been on my list for-ev-er.

The Scarlet Woman, oh I mean Tanja (Do I need to have a talk with Jake??:p) -
I want to read FableHaven. Tiffany really liked that one too. And Catching Fire too. Waiting on hold for that one at the lib. Is it worth buying?
Great list as always.
What would book title would I not want to be?
Hmmm..Dying for Chocolate

alitareads - I love the plum series, especially 2,4,5 and 6. They are all very funny. I just wish she'd get pregnant already, or stick to public transit. I'm worried for the girls sexual, and general health, you know for the good of all women...;D

Allison - I'm liking the Sookie Series too, Club Dead was awesome and I hear book 4 is even better! What a great challenge that one is.
All-things-Plum does get a bit busy after a while, but still funny. Like I said, the girl needs to move on, but who cares, I still read them. Thanks for stopping by!

Suzette - Is she the same girl in the Shopaholic series? Cuz that girl is not too smart..I'm going off the movie here, you omnivore you..and hey, that's a pretty good book!

Tea - I love the men in the plum books! Like Miss Stephanie, I could never be able to pick between them. Hot, Hot! Thanks for your comment.

Mandy -
I too am looking forward to the new Dan Brown book. He's been all over in the news lately, which is surprising since I've always heard he really is hermit and shuns the public life. Oh well, books must be promoted I guess. Hey, I'll pay a rental fee I can borrow it??

Mary - The first eight are really good! I forgot about 8. SPOILER ---That's where they break up right? And she and Ranger ah, do stuff. Yeah, that was a good one too. Thanks for visiting!

Alas, my book pile is just collecting dust right now. Gardening and harvesting and canning and freezing and baking and cooking and persuading friends to take more vegetables, pretty please, is sucking all of my time and my will to read.

Don't get me wrong. I like the self-satisfaction that comes from shelves and freezers full of bounty, but then again...an early freeze has its appeal.

Oh, and does anyone want some cucumbers? Seriously.
